Since you are already working in java for last two and a half years, we are assuming you already have a good command over the language. You mentioned you are aware of the web technologies, but have not yet worked on it yet and are looking to switch into the job related to them.

The companies that you might be looking for are probably flipkart, myntra among other companies. The interview process for these companies is pretty straight forward where major focus is on algorithmic skills than on technology. And frankly speaking, two and a half year of experience in java actually helps you since the programming language used in all these technologies is java only.

So our suggestion is to brace up your algorithmic skills and try moving to an organization in the role of backend web developer in a company focused on a web product. Because the knowledge you can gain while working on the technology itself cannot be gained by learning it through tutorials.
