Senior Quality Engineer

Job Description:
 
Cvent is looking for multiple talented Quality Engineers to join our Technology team, which designs, develops and operates large-scale, Web-based applications. The Quality Engineer ensures the quality and integrity of the application. This position plays an integral role in application usability, providing product feedback at all stages of the development life cycle. This is an entry-level position with significant opportunity for career growth.
 
Position Duties
 

• Write and execute test plans for the application
• Write extensive Automation scripts
• Utilize CI in executing Automation
• Write and execute Performance testing scripts on need basis
• Review and assist in the development of test plans
• Document defects and work with engineers to resolve issues
• Provide usability feedback to the product team and Assist in applying application standards
• Provide trainings, guidance and handle junior quality engineers in team
• Close involvement in the Project Management, Analysis, Test Design, Test case writing, automation scripting to create and deliver a quality-focused system testing

 
Candidate Requirements
 

• B. E.B TechMCA (Must) from reputed institute/University
• 3.5 -5 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 2 Years of experience on web application testing
• Minimum 8 months’ hand-on experience in web services (API) testing (Postman/Ready API preferred)
• Sound knowledge of web domain and web technologies
• Experience in writing automation scripts using Cucumber and Selenium
• Experience on using defect tracking tool
• Worked in agile (Scrum) team for minimum 1 year
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
