Business Analyst – Big Data

Responsibilities: -
•Support various activities related to centralization of 
data and MIS on the Big data platform.
•Closely partnering with AET and business partners to 
enable the same with activities like identification of 
data sources, performing UAT, data transformation logic 
and data visualization.
•Identify related Data Sources & perform Data Profiling, 
including correctness, completeness, consistency and 
gather metadata of data
•Collaborate with programmers and AET partners to ensure 
common understanding of the business requirements
•Actively participate in evaluation of Big Data tools & 
capabilities and conduct knowledge sharing sessions for 
analysts across GSN
Qualifications: -
•Experience in working with BI tools and SQL, SAS & 
Teradata
•Project management skills, and ability to translate 
business needs into technical/capability specifications
•Passion for data and learn new technologies/skills
•Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Amex systems and data like IDN, Teradata 
preferred
