Roles and Responsibilities
? Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance android app
? Focus on code optimization, code quality, maintainability etc.
? Debug and Optimise Android applications to work on multiple Android versions and
devices
? Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize
development efficiency
? Work with network and battery optimisations, location handling in poor networks, APIs,
external libs, SDKs, Analytics, UI, and animations
Experience and Qualifications
? Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
? 1+ years of experience building high quality Android Apps
? Must have published at least one Android app
? Our technology stack comprises of Core Java, Android SDK, SQLite, Git, REST Api,
Retrofit and Firebase.
Skills
? Very good at CS fundamentals, Code design, Object-oriented programming, Android
SDK
? Strong experience in design patterns, Android UI design principles, Object Oriented
Programming, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
? Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
? Experience fine-tuning memory usage, APK size, offline storage, threading, and
performance tuning
? Familiarity with version control tools like GIT, cloud message APIs, push notifications,
REST and JSON
? Strong problem solving and debugging skills
? Experience with unit testing
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Bonus
Being good at MVP, Unit testing, an active contributor to developer communities like
Stackoverflow, Topcoder, Github, Google Developer Groups (GDGs)
