This team is working on several game-changing products for internal and external users, using big data analytics for support automation to simplify and streamline operations. • This Support Engineer will be part of a team supporting our customers (internal and external) engaged with our new visibility applications, dashboards and portals. The platform gives our customers, partners, and professional services team’s valuable status. The candidate should have practical, hands-on experience in supporting modern cloud based systems and Hadoop applications. The primary objective of this role is to work with our development teams to investigate and resolve software and data issues.  The position will coordinate defect resolution and identify improvements needed to close gaps in the application.  Excellent communication skills are a must.

• Coordinate with different technology teams and business stake holders for efficient problem analysis and resolution
• Perform data analysis within large data systems to provide root cause analysis
• Responsible for analyzing software issues pertaining to features and reporting content to determine appropriate resolution needed
• Qualifications
• Bachelor degree or higher
• 6-8 years of relevant experience
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and ability to frame issues clearly for less technical colleagues and customers
• Demonstrates initiative, taking prompt action to identify issues/opportunities and accomplish objectives, going beyond what is required and/or expected
• Experience with application and data integration concepts, architectures and technologies
• Experience in ETL data flow
• Experience in big data platforms and tools such as Cassandra, Hadoop and HBase desired
• Expertise in software and web application testing methodology and test processes
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Windows)
• Knowledge of Computer Networking
• Experience in Java programming language desired.
• Expertise in writing SQL queries
• Experience with Kubernete platform
• Excellent problem solving, analytical skills, and technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely with limited supervision
• Capability of working with a wide range of complex computing environments
• Must be flexible and be able to adapt strategy to changing business requirements
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
