  • Entry level knowledge in verification languages such as UVM and System Verilog.
  • Education: B.S. in electrical engineering, computer science with entry level industry experience.

Intern, ASIC Verification
Job responsibilities:
 
·        Develop understanding on SoC and perform Processor based SoC verification and Emulation using C/SV
·        Create Verification plan, Implement tests, Debug failures and Regress them to achieve Target coverage
·        Develop SV/UVM TB/monitors and Integrate them to DUT and drive towards 100% verification closure
·        Develop flows to automate verification environment and implement them using scripting languages
 
 
Job Qualifications
·        Bachelors/Masters in Engineering
·        Good understanding on Digital Design, Verilog, System Verilog, UVM etc.
·        Good understanding on Microprocessor / Microcontroller Architecture
·        Good understanding on scripting languages such as Python / Perl / TCL
·        Good written and oral communication.

Intern - Design Verification
The Intern - Design Verification in the Non-Volatile Memory Group at Micron Technology, Inc., will be core technical individual contributor in design and verification of the on-chip controller and mixed signal circuitry in NAND FLASH chips. In this highly visible and challenging role, your responsibilities will include architecture development, full-chip and block-level verification of NAND internal operations. You will be working very closely with design teams both domestic and overseas on different projects.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Full-chip functional verification on Micron’s non-volatile memory design projects
  • You thoroughly understand design specs and develop verification plans for various designs
  • TestBench Development in SystemVerilog targeting complete functionality coverage.
  • Create functional coverage code for assigned features
  • Support of SystemVerilog assertion and coverage-driven methodology
  • Support of design verification methodology improvements
  • Run directed and constrained-random verification tests
  • You will think through design corner cases and be able to write relevant cover points
  • Collaborate with digital design team to debug test cases and deliver functionally accurate designs
  • Close coverage measures to identify verification holes and to show progress towards tape-out
  • Driving innovation into the future Memory generations within a dynamic work environment

Intern – Component PE

One of the rapidly growing functions within Micron India is the Micron NAND Validation team in Hyderabad within the Product Engineering (PE) group. As part of this group, the candidate will be responsible for the development, validation, characterization, and qualification of new state-of-the-art NAND Flash memory products.
There is tremendous scope for individual learning and career growth in this role. In addition to the responsibilities, the candidate will also work cross functionally with NAND R&D, Design, Media Health, Technology Development and other various engineering teams towards new product startup, definition, validation & delivery of product specifications and requirements. Also, Product Engineers are the key product-specific point of contact with high visibility for critical issues and act as the main interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Business Units, and Quality Assurance departments.
Key responsibilities & Learnings:
  • NAND product test development, validation, characterization & qualification
  • NAND product test mode definition and applications
  • Pre-silicon conceptual design and preparation work
  • Run Verilog (Digital) and Analog design simulations, Analyze, Debugging pre-silicon Full Chip designs.
  • Create and maintain design and validation documentation
  • Wafer level micro-probing to identify circuit level and design level anomalies
  • Post-Si activities involving hands-on measurements on wafer probe stations and testers for design validation as well as deep dive NAND package level analysis related to yield, validation, speed or power issues
  • Perform exhaustive package level characterization to assess adherence to datasheet specs, especially for functional, speed & power metrics
  • Work with Design Engineering to create new test modes to improve overall testing effectiveness and efficiency
  • Exposure to bench testing equipment and state-of-the-art tester-coding environments. Utilize engineering bench and testers to perform device characterization and electrical failure analysis
  • Contribute to the improvement of any existing pre, post silicon flows and methodologies as per current Industry trends.
  • Develop and refine best known methods and automation for design validation of current and future products
  • Drive issue resolution taskforce and debug efforts, especially during critical first Silicon issues
  • Apply knowledge of statistics and data analysis to deep dive and solve high speed performance problems & enable product leadership
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
