Job Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a GCP Data Engineer located in Bengaluru/Kolkata with Hybrid work model. The GCP Data Engineer will be responsible for daily hands-on development and maintenance of cloud-based data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including data engineering, data modeling, Extract Transform Load (ETL) development, data warehousing, and data analytics. The GCP Data Engineer will also work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and drive technical solutions.
 
Qualifications

• Mandatory Required Skills: Python, Pyspark/Spark, SQL, GCP, Airflow
• Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) development and Data Warehousing
• 6+ years of Data Engineering experience with Google Cloud and Open Source technologies like Spark, HBase, Hadoop, etc
• Experience in developing, designing, supporting, and maintaining cloud-based data solutions using GCP technologies such as Google BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Dataflow, and others
• Experience in BFSI sector will be a plus
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Terraform
• Relevant GCP certifications such as Google Certified Professional - Data Engineer or Google Certified Professional - Cloud Architect are a plus
