We're hiring Forward Deployed Software Engineers at Sarvam.

Sarvam is building India's full-stack sovereign AI platform - foundational models, speech, vision, and products on top of them for enterprises, consumers, and government. We're a small team, and every FDSE here is a generalist solving hard problems for customers — and rewriting how we solve them internally, with AI.

Our engineers are in the room when problems are found — and don't leave until they're solved. They talk to customers, design solutions, and ship agents that run in production, sometimes all in the same week.

The kind of people we're looking for:
• High energy, high agency: they move fast, figure things out, and take ownership without being asked

• AI-first builders: Solid understanding of LLMs, agents, RAG, evals, and the latest frameworks. Can design and build for scale, reliability, and real-world use and have strong opinions on what actually matters

• Follows the AI space obsessively: Fast learners who follow the space closely, experiment with new tools, and iterate quickly.

• You've shipped things you're proud of — at work, in open source, or on the side. Bonus if you've contributed to open-source projects or built something people actually use.

We're hiring across multiple products: Samvaad (conversational AI agents for enterprise), ARYA (agentic backend infrastructure), API Dashboard (developer tooling and open-source integrations), and Content Studio (AI-native content workflows).
