Job Description:.
Job Location: Hyderabad
Work Profile:
• Creating, Evolving, Enhancing & Adapting of Software Architectural solutions for Qualcomm products
o Focus: Platform – Boot, Reset, Debug, Resource-Management, Workload-partitioning, Memory maps, Infra aspects such as NoC connectivity, Virtualization, Interrupts, timers etc.
• Lead the development of a new technologies end-to-end, working with the HW architects/designers/ecosystem to propose the new hardware, defining the overall HW/SW architecture and platform interfaces
• Support power, performance, memory or other systemic KPI assessments
• Providing assessment for features/changes by establishing systemic understanding
• Establish end-to-end data flows, impacts and risks
• Collaborate with multiple cross-functional technology architecture and execution teams
Skills/Experience:
• 12+ years of experience in the embedded domain to design, develop and support software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPUs, Strong C/C++ programming skills.
• 5+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Embedded Platforms experience including low-level firmware, kernel and user-space components.
• Design and development of software for heterogeneous compute platforms consisting of ARMs, GPUs, DSPs, and specialized hardware accelerators in an embedded SoC systems with J-TAG or ICE debuggers
• Experience in designing complex embedded System SW features, hardware/software interfaces and system design.
• Solid knowledge on CPU/MMU/Cache/IOMMU architecture
• Experience with real time OS, Embedded Software, Firmware development
Preferred Experience:
• Auto SOC HW / SW architecture, hands-on in Automotive SW, use cases, HW & SW work partitioning
• Knowledge and experience in some of the following domains: SoC architecture, ARM architecture (including SMMU, virtualization, CCA), Linux kernel and device drivers, Zephyr OS, boot and UEFI software, PCIe/CXL technology and software stack
• SoC security & virtualization exposure
