Background – Senior Databricks Data Engineer
At EXL, we are building a highly skilled and innovative data engineering team to deliver scalable data and analytics solutions for our clients. We are seeking Senior Data Engineers with 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data platforms and pipelines. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, SQL, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms. Experience with data lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, ETL/ELT development, workflow orchestration, performance optimization, and data quality practices is highly valued. The successful candidate will be expected to lead technical discussions, contribute to solution design, mentor team members, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
