Performance Testing(Location : Chennai and Bangalore)

• 5 to 12 Analyze the NFR for Performance testing and identify the scope.
• Prepare Perf. testing effort estimation for the applications in scope
• Prepare Performance plan/strategy for applications in scope.
• Create test script for Perf. Testing using tool e.g. Load runner, Jmeter etc.
• Execute the test script and monitor the server performance and capture various performance metrics
• Analyze the performance metrics and identify issues.
• Log defects for the identified issues and coordinate with dev team for the fix.
• Retest the defect after fix.
• Participating in daily stand-up call & triage calls
• Update all stake holders (onsite/offshore) on current perf. testing status.
• Prepare the Performance Test Execution Summary report.

Job Description:
•  6+ years of Performance Testing/Monitoring of Web Applications with  JMeter
• Proficiency in various scripting techniques, develop custom codes for enhancing and customizing performance testing scripts and scenarios using Jmeter where applicable
• Possess good knowledge in network and cutting edge technologies
• Demonstrate excellent Linux fundamentals and solid understanding of diagnosing system utilization
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• Possess excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence others
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline for performance testing
• Experience with Performance test framework development and automation
• Experience working with large scale distributed systems & large data volumes
• Experience with some of the following technologies and services:
• Cloud based Infrastructure as a Service (especially Azure)
• Container based service schedulers (e.g., Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, etc.)
• MySQL, Java, Python
• Perf testing tools (Jmeter)
• Log management tools (Splunk)
• APM tools (Prometheus, Dynatrace, Datadog, )
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose performance issues and propose effective solutions.
• Ability to take up additional responsibilities and mandates like Chaos Engineering, Observability, etc., towards the transitioning to a SRE role.
• Able to define data strategy and collaborate with the Test Data Management team to generate on-demand data.
• Expertise in adopting In house client side performance testing tools like UX Engine to measure End user experience, wherever applicable.
• Experience in developing Virtual Services using Mountebank for all Performance testing requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and technology/business stakeholders.
