- Very strong knowledge in TCP/IP, L4 - L7, VLAN, fragmentation/segmentation knowledge
- Experience in manual testing of IDP/FW/ALG/NAT/IPSEC-VPN modules/products in network security
- Working knowledge LINUX/UNIX OSes
- Desirable to have strong scripting ability with PERL/Shell/TCL language
- Desirable to have knowledge of using packet analyzers like Sniffer/Wire-shark/tcp-dump/ethereal and knowledge of decoding packets
