Job Description
- Will be responsible for developing new functionality/features, enhance existing functionality and fix defects
- Good coding skills and technical aptitude. Should be able to contribute to design of new features translate it into implementation with good quality.
- Unit testing of code developed
- Responsible for sub-system and system integration testing of the modules developed by him/her.
Demonstrated Experience
- Good knowledge of Telecom domain and SIP/VOIP protocols - understanding of signalling flows etc.
- Good knowledge of VoIP media protocols such as RTP and RTCP. Understanding of jitter, latency, lip-sync is an added advantage.
- Strong programming and design skills using C++ and C.
- Strong OS Concepts : good working knowledge of Unix/Linux
- Knowledge in Python is desirable.
- Exposure to tools like JIRA, SVN.
- Good communication skills: Strong verbal, written communication.
- Team player & good interpersonal skills: Should be able to work well in a team.
- Good technical aptitude : Should have proven analytical / problem solving ability
- Very good troubleshooting skills.
- Report progress and status in a timely and comprehensive manner.
